Shanghai Major: Team Secret secures top six, OG to the lower bracket

The second day at the Shanghai Major main event started with one of the most anticipated series from the upper bracket, OG vs Team Secret.
Game One:
For the first game of the day at Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China both teams came with clear ideas on how to approach the series, the drafts had a strong plan and no reactive picks happened.
OG went with a five man pushing strategy built around Amer 'Miracle-' al-Barqawi’s Lone Druid Bear buffed by Press the Attack from Legion Commander and a support Pugna for both push and healing sustain for the bear during the high ground siege.
Team Secret on the other hand, prepared for a split push game with Furion and Ember Spirit and an aggressive support duo to give them the early game advantage. Half of the plan worked perfectly for them, they’ve managed to shut down David 'MoonMeander' Tan’s Tidehunter in the offlane and, with a few rotations into the mid lane, they also delayed Lone Druid’s farm and grabbed the kill score lead for the entire game.
But OG had an overall better vision on how to execute their draft and they were tricking Secret into chasing for easy kills while Moon farmed his Radiance.  After two not very successful high ground attempts, OG got all their key items, Mekanism on Tidehunter and Blink Dagger on Legion Commander for proper initiation and took the first lane of Barracks 23 minutes into the game. Five minutes later they were all grouped into the enemy base, taking down heroes and towers and forcing the GG call from Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov.
Game Two:
One step away from the Lower Bracket best-of-one scary games, Secret didn’t hesitate to go back to proven picks, a Puppey Enigma paired with Drow Ranger and Natures Prophet for a timed pushing play style. OG continued to keep Miracle in the carry position with a Slark sending Johan N0tail Sundstein mid lane on Death Prophet.
Secret prepared a dual lane set-up and had the luxury of a free jungle farm for Puppey who again finished a  nine minutes Mekanism being ready to group up with his team for the five man push. Only 11 minutes into the game there were no tier two towers left for OG who lost a very early crucial fight for the mid lane that allowed Secret to simply steam roll over the Frankfurt Major Champions.
Although OG managed to save one lane of barracks top lane and Miracle-’s farm has been suddenly boosted which gave them a glimmer of hope for a comeback, Secret was way too farmed on all their heroes and were determined to not let the game to slip through their fingers.
Game Three:
The last game of the series brought into the spotlight a possible pocket strategy of Secret against teams like Alliance who like to abuse illusion heroes. A last pick Drow Ranger for Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao and a saving grace support duo from Secret Side made OG feel confident with a late game line-up that featured the first Terror Blade of the tournament, played once again by Miracle in the carry position.
OG had a rather good start and won the safe lane for Miracle-. However, they’ve also engaged in a disastrous team fight in the mid lane only 11 minutes into the game where they committed  the big Ravage to kill Aliwi 'w33' Omar’s OD but perfect coordination from Puppey’s Dazzle and Johan 'pieliedie' Åström’s Io kept him alive and allowed Secret to turn around the fight. They punished OG’s aggression, took the tower, cleared half of Tidehunter’s Ancients stack and on the retreat path they killed Roshan.
OG was slowly falling behind but Miracle- found the space to farm his Terror Blade which was the real threat for Secret and here is when EnVy made a game winning decision buying a full Aghanim’s Scepter followed by Mjollnir on Drow Ranger to deal with TB’s Illusions.
Only a few minutes after these key items were purchased, he surprised OG who tried to ambush him by the dire ancients and with a great BkB reaction he turned the gank around buying enough time for his team mates to come and sweep four OG heroes.
Casters and the panel desk  were wondering where the last pick Drow Ranger would take Secret in the decisive game but once EnVy revealed the Aghanim’s strat, Team Secret’s plan became a lot clearer.
